Privacy
Privacy is the reason BAOKYN exists. Every project and document is private by default. Sharing is always an explicit choice you make, and you can revoke it at any time.
Content is encrypted in transit and at rest using server-managed keys. This is honest encryption-at-rest, not zero-knowledge encryption — we hold the keys needed to operate the service, and we tell you that plainly rather than implying no one but you could ever read your data.
Shared documents can carry dynamic watermarks, and access is logged. No web application can fully prevent screenshots, so we pair best-effort deterrents with watermarking and access logs instead of overstating what a browser can do.
A full, detailed privacy policy is in preparation and will be published here.
